Im building a little system comprised of four MS18-MK3 loaded with Void v1000 powered by xp5000.

4 hds loaded with kappa lf2 powered by xp3000.

3 mt130 loaded with pd121 and selenium d205ti comps, mids run off str2000 and highs of ukp1000.

Do you think I have enough headroom on the voids? any advice overall?

That should be fine as it is, but if you want to push your scoops and make them loud as possible then you could do with a bigger amp.

Another question! I am learning... slowly.. LOL

Obviously I want to build the scoops out of 18mm voidless birch but expensive.
Not keen on mdf because it just falls apart and heavy!

Am I wasting all the quality of the decent drivers and amps by using standard ply?

Unless someone knows where I can get decent ply cheap?

Also is it necassary to use 18mm ply for building the mid/tops? trying to minimise weight of the system overall and I think that 15mm would do the job?

little system!! its twice the size of mine already Clap have a shop around at local wood yards and see what you can get hold of, as for the tops 15mm is fine just make sure you ajust your cutlist -3mm
We all start from the bottom, very few, in comparison, make it to the top.
