Hi.
I'm doing 6 top boxes with 1 Horn + 4 x Beyma CP22 each.
I will run it with a Lab Gruppen FP6000+. 2 channels for horns and other 2 for Tweeters.

CP22= 8ohm, 25w aes

Lab channel gives:
16ohm  325w
8ohm    650w
4ohm   1250w
2ohm   1500w

Depending the event/ place will be 2 or 3 boxes per side. So have 2 options:

- 4 CP22 x box In serial = 32ohm 100w x box.
2 boxes= 16ohm 200w aes. 125w headroom (amp gives 325w)
3 boxes= 10'6ohm 300w aes.  +- 180w headroom (amp gives +.480w)

- 4 CP22 x box In serial + Parallel= 8ohm 100w x box
2 boxes= 4ohm 200w aes. 1050w headroom
3 boxes= 2'6ohm 300w aes.  +- 1100w headroom (amp gives +.480w)

My doubt is what way to take...
Go to High impedance= best quality sound but less headroom
Go to less impedance but more headroom, better life for the amp.

I control the system with a Xilica and Lab gruppen also has the rear gain adjust so no problem with the gain.

Thanks in advance.

Does your fp6000 have vpl switches/settings on the back with the gain adjust? You should be able to set
the output voltage using those.
Just re read the question, not what you were asking, my bad

I'd make the boxes all ('standard') 8 ohm - and use a smaller amp! That's a big amp to use on tops, it seems wasted for that. It would be better employed on mids (or bass). Just my .02€.   Smile

do serial 32 ohm boxes. two in parallel on one channel, at 16 ohm.

one tweeter @ 1 W: 107 dB
one tweeter @ 32 W : 122 dB
eight tweeters @ 32 W each: 131 dB
sixteen tweeters @ 32 W each: 134 dB
total 256 W/channel, within amplifier spec

enough to give your audience a lot of sizzle and some serious tinnitus if you get carried away
