Got to love the insomnia!! So, would any of you folks insulate the rear of a powercon, only using Neutrik's own SCDR insulation boot? I'm putting a 1u rack strip in the back of all my flight cases, so I can have all connections, including power, neatly mounted at the back of the rack, but I've never seen, let alone used, one of these insulation boots, so was curious as to their viability for protecting persons (idiots) against a mains power shock; or are they intended for only XLR/SPEAKON use. Your thoughts please folks. Much you very thank.

Heatshrink would be less likely to come off in transit... And probably cheaper

are you using pre-punched rack strip or are you getting one made - if so where?

TBH

you need to leave the mains in a state it is in-accessible without tools.

(the above is bolox, WRT to Pro gear in a few ways, ut in argument with a house sparks that has just padlocked off your mains is important...

Adhesive lined heat shrink may just pass muster
