Hello Earth, I'm discovering this forum and -yeah what a nice surprise! Here is my current project : I would like to give a go with a 12v portable Ghettoblasta - simple (easy to build; easy to fix) - medium budget (from 50 to 200 EUR for the whole ghettoblasta) - good bass (we all love feeling the bass when hearing some heavy dubstep/dnb/tribe/ragga/etc/lol) - medium battery life (I would say being able to play music for 3 hours would be ok) I'm open for any advice !

Check out the boominator and its smaller siblings. The Wiki is down at the moment but the thread on DIYAudio and the ones here should get you started.
Little point trying for Bass outside (below 80Hz or so), so you need to play some phycoacoustic tricks. For 200EUR you should be able to build something with the Accusafe Maxamp and a decent SLA battery which will do much more than 3 hours. Dupe...

Thanks for the reply DJ-Dulux I would give a go with the Boominator thread
Regarding to the bass, because I'd like to listen to some of this kind of music https://soundcloud.com/2death/c2d014-aa-inward-phase-int-company-clinic https://soundcloud.com/osirismusic-uk/killawatt-emigre-osmuk041lp I may have to add a subwoofer to the Boominator, do I ?
