Anyone know the price for a sd21-2000n looks like a good competitor for the 18sound 18nlw9600. Also any uk suppliers of P.Audio?

Just loaded 8 Opus HB121's with the new P.Audio SD21-1800EL and the initial results are very good indeed. They seem to be very good drivers indeed. Damned heavy too! Manouvering 30kg of driver through a tight access panel isn't the most fun in the world. Got the cut and bruised fingers to prove it!
Regarding the xmax, I was first disappointed by the spec of some of their drivers but when you realise that they quote 'pure' xmax not the inflated figures of some manufacturers, they're on a par with everyone else. Bluearan are the P.Audio distributor in the UK. I believe they're currently planning their next container load so if there are any drivers you'd particularly like to see in the UK, let them know. The P.Audio range is too big to stock everything (plus some of the drivers are somewhat better than others). |
