or perhaps modified mt121 (what ill be building pase plugged 6.5 and 12" section both or just the 6" plugged not sure yet still in very early stages working with what studio 45's got as a basis) thinking perhaps 1" or a convex melded pezio array (which is what ill be testing soonish as its got a minimal outlay to test it) ------------- You're a big man, but you're in bad shape. To be honest the 12" alone isn't doing anything too special as it's only playing 140hz-600hz. You could probably get very similar results with an MT121.
The limmer 042 does a really good job of 600hz though... Before I went down the limmer route I did try the mk1 porn horn top and an unreleased porn horn 6.5". I preferred the limmer to be honest...
As for comparison with a stasys 3 mk 2 - they are a completely different beast. The limmer has a much wider dispersion and is really designed for one box per side. The stasys 3's are very good sounding boxes...

The limmer porn boxes sound really good.
Not sure what you mean by come close to the big boys. They do a different job. They sound good but are really only suitable for small rooms due to the wide dispersion.

Nah, I mean like an MT122 with 8s instead of 12s, a double Mykey 1" in the centre, all in one fibreglass baffle.

You want to be able to use it on it's own with smaller shows and use it with kick bins in larger shows? The kick bins are going to have be exactly the same as the ones in the cabs, unfortunately. Stasys 3 ain't the same class as the others - it's designed to have a kick bin under it. Have a look at Martin H3+ actually. is it possible to tell me wich speaker have you used in the limmer 042 ,and wich 12" horn have yu used to make a limmer/pornhorn combo ,because i will be really interested to make 2 or 4 for me.
i see that some have used the 12 of the porn horn v2 with the limmer 042 ,is there any problem of dispersion ?
where can i see picture of this limmer/horn combo ?

I would think that he used the Pornhorn 12" section to make his limmer/porhorn combo - otherwise I suspect he might've called it something else.

Ok, I think you're talking about Dom's combo in which case it is a V1 Porn horn.
To cut this short, if you want to know anything worthwhile about the Porn Horn go to search and use:
