Sweet....

Remarkably similar to mine although we made do with 4 section for the "curve"

You not tempted with a full frontal grill to keep out beer cans, coats, handbags, burrowing animals etc???

@ dom .. you forgot used tampon's!!

@ vivo.. did you get all the panels done by CNC? or did you use a hand router?

if you did it with a hand router top marks

Was that a textured roller or sprayed?

Looks very similar to the Aldcroft finish, maybe a little more even but that could be down to user *ahem*

3 layers with roller but I really can't recommend that. It was f**king hard to learn the right way to get good results with it. It really should be sprayed.

try this!

spray at normal pressure for 2 coats and the 3rd turn the pressure down and do a spatter finish so its just spitting out at the nozzle like rain drop effect, looks great

(PRESSURE POT/ pot / or gravity pot)

Niccccccccccccceeee finish to them, looks like the paint you get on the Martin Audio cabs.

And I love it how you made up the flare curve in several pieces, stronger and less of a pain in the neck than trying to bend thin ply.
