OK
Trying to get my head around this layout. So would the access hatch be from the front inside the mouth? With driver firing through the section that is 144mm?

If so where would you personally run the wiring?
I ask as that grey part which would be on what I think would be the access panel looks like a connector.

That grey part is like http://www.audioroundtable.com/PiSpeakers/messages/17999.html - http://www.audioroundtable.com/PiSpeakers/messages/17999.html
This is a Heat Exchanger.

Access hatch is at the front of..

144x378mm is an original WSX throat area.

yup, it was! Smile
this version hasn't parts having angles less than 45deg except for throat part... two ones
hatch is parallel to driver bottom to make heat exchanger

it shouldn't have big changes in response... maybe less distortion

Looks like a good alternative to the often requested CV B36 types too.

Vtc, atc is close to Original WSX VTS.

Vrc is smaller.. it's about 5 litres..

I drawed this plan about 10 months ago, and i've lost data for it...

If U a too lazy to redraw and get HR parameters, then I'll do it later... Wink

I know this is a very old thread, but I'm interested to know whether anyone has built (and tested) this one and if so, how did it perform and which driver(s) was used?

For sidefills, can we have two enormous things of a type that might be venerated as Gods by the inhabitants of Easter Island, capable of reaching volumes that would make Beelzebub soil his pants.

I like your designs amano! -Close to Invader folding

I wonder if you count the phantom horn in?
Most people don't
Just compared your other long single 18" horn to SBH, sims much better!
