I think it was a trick question, as in 'do the scoop lads know that actually the berry used within it'd limits, will power drivers as heavy as an old school amp?'

Buy a scoop that plays below 40hz and play music with heavy content below 40, and let me know what happens when you buck the sub parametric on some 50/51/52/Tmax1200i/1500i....

Now this is definitely a trick question everyone knows a scoop doesn't do under 40 and nor does roots

As I've personally seen it done, no hearsay.

Can definetly say 2x Berry 6000s, driving 1x 1850 per channel each, would clap 5000VZ, QSC 5050, & CA18 powering 2x perchannel.

Ive been to a dance where they had 2x berry 6000's powering 4x scoops and 2x 6000's powering 2x double 15 reflex kicks. The bass tore you up inside and the kick knocked your head off. Dirt cheap to buy and thomann's no quibble warranty? Cannot be beaten £ per w

The lab test of the Berry 6000s, says they are great at 8 ohms, not so at 4 ohms. Proven in real gigs.

Howvever, overall, would not say they are in same league, as other brands you just mentioned, when it comes to 4 ohm stereo.

i think for what they are used seen few for 130, one even 100 but was gone when i went back for it(crack converters) its worth buying one and just keeping it in the van back,or the black look actually makes them look ok,they are a funny looking thing but when i have seen a few racked up together they look not to bad, seen 2 reggae sounds in bristol both with a few racked up and to be honest performance was very good, tho was on kick duty and up, the 6000 running 4 es18s was actually painfull and no clipping Clap

Curiously, ppl say the Matrix XT5000MF and XT7000MF are great at 8 ohm stereo, but not many would spend £800+ on amps, to drive 2x boxes each.
