Hi
I originally listed this in the newbie section, becaiuse for loudspeaker builders i guessed it is a newbie question, but go no bites.
So i have a design of a basic square sub with an 18" driver. 600x600x600mm
Keeping the driver the same, if i reduce the volume of the cabinet from 173L to 160ish is there a simple calculator that allows me to calculate the change in port length/size required to meet the same tuning?
so everything is remaining the same except i am shaving 2cm off the width and height of the box, but adding 2cm to the depth.
Realistically how much effect is this going to have anyway on a 173L box?
i know i can fit two 58cm cabinets (guess what brand) side by side, two high in my van and its snug, so wanna build something that i can get in there in the same arrangement.
thanks in advance

We all start from the bottom, very few, in comparison, make it to the top.
