Can someone tell me the difference between these two drivers? I can get them for almost the same price. Would one be more suited to a BPH and/ or a scoop/ or horn etc etc.
Thanks in advance.

LW2400 wins in a scoop

Hi everyone. I have found a pair of 18w1000 really cheap. According to realitysound list they seem to pass the test. But what plans can I use? Will they fit in a superscoop?

thanks for the help.

We have been testing both of these today, and they seem to perform well. So far only done low power tests to get an idea of sensitivity, will be doing higher power tests in due course.

I'm sure this could get someone saying "sell them and buy something decent" but the fact is I'm a vintage roots fan who wants to build a couple of scoops for home and parties etc. and don't have a ton of money to throw around.

I have two vintage Cerwin Vega SW18 400w drivers. I've been looking for the past two years at scoop designs and I'd really appreciate some advice on which cabinet to build. I've been looking mostly at the MSMkiii and the the old eminence scoop plans.

cheers
Mikey
