If you have 2 bins in series that are then paralleled with 1 bin, you have a load of 5.33Ω... however, you've got the power issue to contend with then.

That is presuming that the bins are 8Ω.

not to mention that some of the amp's power will be split over the two series bins whilst the one in parallel will be trying to cope with the all the rest by itself!

the single bin will have half the resistance of the two series bin so it will be stuck with most of the amp power. Not a good idea. Either only use two bins or get another to make four. Then wire them in series/parallel.

so with the right amp choice with a little headroom it is a possibility or am i just going to blow a driver/amp, trying to build this system on a budget as i had to sell my last rig for financial reasons.

hmm no easy solution i think the choices are
drop 2 of the hd's to run two aside
get another 2hd's
get an amp that will run 2ohm stable
or get a second amp to run 3 pairs
