Hey all...
...random little project to pass the time and re-aquaint myself with carpentry, before I attempt to make some cabinets this summer, after a LONG break!! So yea.... I'm a producer of ambient and techno mainly and use a few Drum Machines. After having recently moved to a TINY studio space, I needed to re-evaluate how I used/stored my kit. I had a spare sheet of chip-board lying around, so decided to make some shelves for my 2 drum machines and 4 of my little FX boxes... (if this turns out rubbish, i'll treat it as a prototype / practice haha) MORNING ONE: SKETCHES: STAGE 1: ![]() STAGE 2: ![]() ...that'll do for a morning...I'l update as I go along :) |

Yea...they're cracking indeed!
Rarelly use it any more, but figured that if they are sat next to my studio PC and wired in to the mixer, ready and waiting, i'll be tempted to use em more regularly :) |

Right.....
....and it's finished. ![]() ![]() Not bad for around 3 hours work + time spent painting several coats/drying. ....but the main point was remembering how to make sawdust. Its been a while!! Now i've reminded myself I may have to make a new rig haha :) |

Cheers buddy.
Used up a load of old wood that would have gone to the scrappers othewise. + solved a storage problem + got me back into the swing of making sawdust! Winner :) |
