this is the view from house, is a lovely garden, advantage of living with a consultant accountant and teacher. Just see pond before it was dug on left
 
todays work - didnt get much done cos it kept pissing down, had 3" of water in at one point, kept pumping out but the groundwaters so high it just fills up again.
 
Got the first layer of sleepers cut to size and placed around  edge. dredged out all the winters crap from the bottom which absolutely stank etc... Hoping tomorrow to get some paving slabs to build up the earthworks a bit, and get things moving on. Bloody heavy those sleepers!!!
