How do people find those T.bone Tom Mics perform? More cut off in the low end?

I've got one of the T.bones, well actually it's the CPC version, just got a different print on it. While it's good considering it only cost about a tenner, it's nowhere near the sound of a Senneiser e604. The low end is very flabby and prone to feedback. The best use I've found for it is for the bottom of a snare, the supplied clamp works quite well upside down.

T.Bone Tom Mics brilliant for the money, they can produce a suprisingly good sound, don,t know how you get the little buggers to feed back though, drum monitor at 150db?
Great for use with young rock bands who choose them as their hit zone. Tony |
