Not him, the other guy. If it would have been the guy you're thinking of, PUKK actually wouldn't make any bass.

My current system: Only used a handful of times. Sounds pretty good. Runs on 2 Yamaha p7000s Amps and BSS management.

what if the lower cab was running lower an the same cab higher in the stack was playing higher than the other(more kick)
an besides that. i though you got more bass extension from having the ports on the ground?

True, but ports coupling to eachother will help even more.

I have tried that before, but didnt really notice much difference. I figured it would be better to have ports on the ground.

ports will couple at that distance at the frequencies they will be working at.

the sub will also couple to the ground in half space just fine too.

i remember reading a test between a letter box x1s an standard x1s
rog was present an said the letter box 1 slightly edged it because of more port in contact with the ground.(ports being slightly wider in letterbox version).

while i must say the system looks very nice, all the time i see the subs as stacked in the picture, i cant stop thinking you have very nice respectful dancers too, because if i stack my hogs like that, the drivers in the bottom ones would not last long in normal condition...Dead

More than cones?
I guess ports couple more low end than cones as they're designed to extend this.

What if the top cab was flipped to couple the cones movement?
Then ones ports would be on ground, A lot of cabs are like this too I've seen.
