Is a double 15" bass reflex cabinet better/different than two single 15"s?

Or is it the same when I place them in a row?

Don't think it will really make that much difference if its 2 singles or a double apart from it being awkward to carry...

If they're both the same design then exactly the same.

ER ones harder to carry, the other needs an extra lead. thats about it, other than the single cabs are more versatile than doubles, although a single twin bin looks better than a pair of singles.
To much power? NEVER.

If your shooting for a small but flexable system

4 singles and 2 doubles is a good way to go !

means you can use them in a huge number of dif configuarations from just 1 15" sub with a top a side all the way up to 4x15" a side ! thats what Ive ended up with and it works well for what Ive spent and know(or dont).
