hi all, have been building these in the spare time i have had over the past week, and yes they are built from My Dusty Friend but hey ho, ive spent about 12 hours if that on them so far 1 is filled and sanded waiting to get a few coats of tough cab the other the glue is drying and part filled, not sure what colour im going with yet, thinking blue with silver grills but not sure yet suggestions welcome ![]() anyway build pics i have sofar... Baffle and Back Comp Baffle screwed and glued Bottom Back, Sides and Top on and other way up Bottom Going on Inside view for some reason... Baffle in Comp Baffle in The other cab finished waiting for paint and some unknown 12" coxaials in it so i could listen to music while i build in my mums kitchen shes loving the dust, but its nice and warm, anyway will update as i go along, to follow either another pair of these or a pair of es18 or hogs, not yet decided on the order of build yet anyways all the best to people Edit: Finished cabs in my bedroom one with 2 12" coax drivers in, ![]() Edited by craig582 - 15 February 2012 at 11:52am |

Just noticed this linked from another thread...
Nice build - but it looks like you haven't added the divider that goes between the 12s in the pictures.. Is that something you added later? Otherwise, you'll end up with nasty phase issues...

SMT212 don't have divider between the 12s.

yh, dougie confused me for a moment then, im not sure yet, taking suggestions on cheaper drivers, looking at loading them with fane sovereign 12-500 lf and pd comp and horn but not sure yet :P but ive designed this to go under them but in prototype stage at the moment, loaded with fane collosus 18xb, well 2 per cab :)
