It depends upon what YOU perceive to be Rastafari fashion, but do not confuse sound system and Rastafari. A little info for you, before Shaka is a sound called Coxsone, who a leading member of the EWF in London, another is TTTI sound from south London.

I don't think anyone can deny there is a link between rasta and roots music soundsystems. There are plenty of genuine rasta's running sound, as well as plenty of non-rastas like myself.

However, there are certain individuals who clearly have no real interest in rasta (or perhaps any form of 'religion') who are quite happy to chant about Jah and Selassie just to "look the part", but after the gig they go back to cursing and eating bacon. LOL

And making so much negative comments about non Rastas.

Rasta suppose to deal with love n unity and focus on releasing the mental chains of slavery for I & I

Help the lost souls on ones way to the promise land, and let go off the negative talk.

Truth always shines through, regardless what thread is discussed!!!!

This is turning into a comedy..!

What does it really matter if two gal kiss up on the dancefloor..? It doesn't really get my goat. Maybe there should be a judgment prophet on the door, to allow entry only to those who are righteous in their eyes..!LOL That would really help the attendance and reputation.

I wonder where everyone goes after a session, sometimes it feels like everyone returns to a cave. We all share the same streets, the same life out there surrounds us all. Engage, move forwards and be positive.
Get on with it... and remember as said before, by your deeds/actions, you will be known.

There are Rastas who would say that even running or attending sound system is sacrilege and foolishness, vanity and illusion.

Personally, I'm with Flyer on his last post, lots of points to agree with there.

If you want to be homophobic then I suggest you leave and find somewhere more becoming of your outdated and bigoted views. If you expect people to be tolerant of you you have to be tolerant of other people.

People please stick to playing music and don´t start judging who is what and not , I don´t see what it´s helping , Please find-out who you are before you turn around and judge others , Just play your Reggae music and let the people enjoy .
Optimism means expecting the best, but confidence means knowing how you will handle the worst. Never make a move if you are merely optimistic Music is the strongest form of magic.(+45 31879997)
