Nexo are launching their STM series at Prolight + Sound. They say that rather than develop a next generation line array they have gone for point source because of it’s increased flexibility.

A four box system comprised of main, bass, sub and fill.

Main contains 4 x 6.5” drivers and 4 x 1”

Bass contains 1 x 12” horn loaded driver.

Little has been released about the two other cabs yet.

I've been promoting point source systems for a long time now and feel proved true in my decision to invest in HD instead of arrays for our rental business.
Now you may like the Nexo sound or not but they have always been known for well selling products so I predict another best seller from them.

The King is dead - long live the King!

It will be a good product without doubt.

Line array has it's applications and can be a very useful tool but for many gigs it's hard to beat the versatility of point source.
