Very old but still better than many of today's amplifiers...

Is the V6001 amp a production model or a prototype? The internal wiring is truly shameful!

Hi Lev,

Is it lacking mosfets, same number as the inf.8 isn't it?

Am interested to hear your opinions.

Thanks

(added comment: 7/8 21:30)  "I just noticed the Cerwin Vega - CV-5000" thread, it's funny that you just mentioned this amp so recently - as soon as I can afford to spare one for a while, I'll send it off to Lewis for bench testing and then we can see what the real figures are, as I'd like to know if the amps i'm selling are good or not."

It's a production model.  I agree with you on the wiring, but then I'd rather pay half the price for an amp (or even less) and just handle the fact that the wires haven't been tied together in looms.

The boards are really well constructed, I'm happy to post more detailed photos if anyone would like me to.
