scoop with 15 inch driver , kick bass with 12 inch and a mid top , 3 amplifiers , 3 leisure batteries + 1 spare for when or if the scoop amp need a fresh battery, 2 way crossover , turntable and since this session a mixer has been added to the set up, 2 amps running on 12 volt and one from invertor , very heavy set up a work in progress always upgrading , pulled by pedal trike and assisted by two people pushing on inclines and making sure it doesn't tip over and crush anyone.
4 selectors played strictly vinyl reggae roots and dub from 10pm till 3am in the bear pit of Bristol on the Saturday night on Glastonbury festival weekend , a great party was had with up to about 70 in attendance with no advertisement , no group text out , no complaints simply spontaneous , did take a load of footage but my rubbish point and shoot digi cam didn't work well in dim light and audio capture didn't do the sound justice , so will get filmed by frends with pro video /audio capture equipment next time rig comes out. |

not that hard to move around when two push but it can't be safely done without atleast 1 person pushing and there to make sure it doesn't tip due to height and irregular pot holed roads, we are quite strong from years of doing moving of heavy stuff , not sure what design the kick is , my frend the big guy in photo built it or collected the speakers so knows the details

Nice - what sort of leisure batteries do you use? I have just posted in another thread - but what do you use for connecting up the batteries - and how do you deal with switches and inline fuses to avoid any kit getting damaged?

Haha nice, OK so just relying on the fuses in the amps rather than anything else special?
Do you know if you connect up the batteries in series, or are they all standalone powering different components? Thanks! |
