BIG UP!! To all three sounds also to each and everyone who came down, up or across depending on where you came from.

It was good to link up with so many SP mempers and well respected soundmen, builders, engineers and promoters etc.  The vybe was possitive and made the effort well worthwhile.
Hope to see you all + more at the next one.

Bless to all.

Yes, bigup Tony for organising the sessions.. and bigup Trendsetter and Hytal, good vibes and wicked selection. Ruff and tuff systems for sure.. Hytals ASS and Trendsetter's Steve Bs were just monstrous!

We had nuff technical all night long with near a 3rd of our system offline most of the night Ouch. But was still good to hear our rig next to other sounds, we have a way to go and got some good pointers. Big thanks to Fuzzylogic for the Inf8 amp filling a gap Clap

Got to bed at 6.30 and up again at 7.30.. ouch!

We will try to make the next session, well worth the effort for those who havent made it yet.

too much chat about the A.S.S box being the main 1850 box, SteveB 1850 loaded will drop deeper and be felt further than the rx18... the question is which SteveB box ;)

So you guys are kinda right!

Definitely respect due again to QSS,your night is shaping up to be a good 'un mate with a respectable turnout this time and all very positive. I'll give my thoughts on the systems...

Hytal Rockas.
Beautiful and imposing looking stack... loving the red LEDs on the midtops and the 15 inch ASS scoops for kick on there sides...were the LEDs there to remind you to turn them down I wonder cos they were lightin up like a christmas tree at times... still sounded good!
Don't think it was the best placed of the three stacks as something didn't sound quite right... could have sounded better I'm sure.
Even though I was expecting a bit more, it still had some very fat basslines.
Didn't seem to throw the sub around the room as much as the others but this could have been down to positioning and sounded very heavy at times..Good to finally here some ASS used in anger which hasn't just been at a rammo carnival.(Although I remember going in 1997/98 and hearing 4/6 ASS binz sounding absolutely insane... you could feel them on the other side of the road pounding through the floor.)
Anyway nice selection and banter, really good vibe.Well done.

Trendsetter soundsystem. (Paulus)
Wow what can I say... that man knows how to squeeze the fullest fattest warmest bass outta them scoops.Defo my fave on the night... even at the back of the room it just got louder and louder till I was thinking... na there can't be anymore in um....but there was.
I went and did the compulsary torch shining to check excursion and couldn't beleive how little they were moving to what was coming out the front!(The fact you had no grills got me thinking you'd done a last minute swap for some 1851s but on inspecting the surrounds they were defo 1850s...)Then he turned them up some more as I had head in bin and I retreated before I fell over.
Mids tops at times were a little too loud but mainly sounding crystal clear buy the end and those MX600s were ripping out the mid at insane vol and clarity... easily the nicest there.
Liking the fact you went for stacking them on there sides and the grey paint job.Proper Bo.
Again great selection and banter.Wicked sets,Pat yourself on the back fella the RX18s didn't compare.

Transmission Soundsystem.(Dub Defector).
Well well... considering you guys havn't been running that system for very long, plus the technical hitches divided by the fact it's made up from things you'd find at a car booty ...I was really impressed.
OK it didn't quite have the finesse of the other two and there was also the smell of VC in the air at the beginning which had us all running from bin to bin doing smell tests...Sniff ...no not that one... sniff...ew that one!!(thats what happens when you hang a double 15 Peavy cab of one side of an INF 8!!)The JTS amp across 3 1850s was v nice also.(Bit of a random setup if I may say so but it worked.)
Bass seemed a bit hit and miss at times but the last tune I heard before making my exit , was definatly hitting the right notes and had my nose and throat vibing like crazy ,moreso than the others. Also sounding fullest at times .
Mid tops just about keeping up.Tuneage was the best also IMO.
Biggup your bad selves for making the effort when up against 2 heavyweight systems.I expect you found it as rewarding as we did when we had the pleasure of representing.
Good to see all the usual suspects there....Lev... maybe 3rd time lucky mate.
A blinder again ...if only it weren't sunday as I was trancin out on the way home after a long night.Had that 3-2-1 and your back in the room... fxxk me I'm driving! feeling more than once!
