Not sure what the latest situation is in the Opera House in Tottenham, but for a long time there has been 4 RX18's per side of the DJ stand and 4 MX600's flown above. The Scoops x/o at 150hz into the 600's. Not a problem there.

when we used to do lots of parties back in the day we would run scoops to 90 and midtops from 150. People would hear/feel a nice amount of bass and never knew the difference. bare in mind we were playing reggae, dancehall, rnb, so within that music there was never lots of emphasise on higher 'kick' bass types of notes. i imagine playing hard dance/trance genres would be a major issue though

Yea, as paulus says, if you have to do it, increase the bandwidth on the scoops. You definitely don't want to run the mx600s down to 90Hz.

yea man, they are beastly... Question is tho, for this little party I'm doing tonight, will 2 little stacks of mx600 on top of 1 scoop be ok? I.e will they cope going down to 90hz to meet the scoop, missing out the mx1200's completly..
