yep mykey, they can be quite lovely sounding. some years ago we set up a few stacks of it in hammersmith palais and, whilst the low end didnt really compete, the tops sounded considerably better than the installed nexo rig. it was used for top of the pops at riverside studios for a few years too
 
if I could justify the storage Id pounce on them (my rig is made up of labq components). btw, one of the old bss modular xovers for this rig (which I never liked) went for about £30 on ebay t'other day.

never heard the W bins, only heard their later trap 2 x 18'' folded horns loaded with some RCF's

I've seen some of these playing in a stadium in The Gambia (West Africa). Very nice sounding speakers.
 
Tho it was funny watching the lads trying to mount the top cabs on the bass. Seems heavy!!
