been busy lately, and this is the result, my take on a compact twin 10 and 1" mid high box, reflex tuned to 90Hz.
12mm birch construction ( apart from the rebated horn panel on the front which is 18), Fane CD140 on highs and fane N-lite 10MB on mid. Needs a couple of bands of parametric to get flat, but once RTA'd it sounds rather good, even if i say it myself first 8 done, another 8 to do! |

Are the ports underneath the angled baffle?
How high are you crossing the 10''? You might find improvements if you line the upper and lower panels of the cab onto which the 10'' fires with acoustic damping. It would decrease reflections and give a smoother sound.\ Flying and pole-mount brackets hah? good idea!

Those angled baffles seem to be even more than 45 degrees?
What is the operational range of the mids? And how do they perform? 120-150 degrees vertical dispersion in the mid band? Would be interesting to see the polar plots.. They look nice and well made though Edited by daywalk3r - 21 June 2011 at 9:35pm |
