Your links don´t seem to be working, but why not just stick on a standard UK 13A plug?

The Proline 3000? Are you sure it comes with 6mm cable? That doesn´t sound right.

Yes, I´ve seen some Crests/Crowns with US sized cable on them, ie double the section you´d get in Europe. Not sure if they were conversions or what, but a real PITA to wire to a 16A Schuko!

A 16a ceeform on the amp flex, with a 13>16a jumper made up, is the most sensible and flexible way to do it.

I wouldn't use that if I were you.

Like Dub Specialist said, put 16A ceeform plug on the Proline cable, sure it is only 4mm2.

Then make up "tail", with 16A Ceeform socket and Sturdy 13A plug.
