2 tier limiter
first limiter is fast but double gain (program) of the other that is slow but has half the gain (rms)
Don't think it matters which comes first.

The short peaks will come thru the slow limiter but will be stopped by the fast if they're too loud, long term overgain will be stopped by the rms limiter.

Does the drawmer speaker protector do this?
Or why do people prefer it to the avc2?

if you have powersoft you should be able to check how much power the drivers are getting and speaker impedance, probably your drivers in scoops go higher than 8 ohm impedance, so not getting the full watts the amp is capable to give
