King Pharaoh
Upcoming selector coming out of the Channel One Sound System family running heavyweight roots across the UK and beyond. Expect strictly acetate & vinyl selections from top studios worldwide alongside homegrown productions from the man himself.

Reggae Heaven’s Robin Catto with Ruben Da Silva
Robin Catto started DJing in 1984 and began his radio career at Sussex University's Radio Falmer in 1985, joining Brighton's pirate station Faze FM soon afterwards. In 1989 he joined up with Manasseh, the London-based reggae sound system founded in 1985 by his school friends Nick Raphael, Bill Tuckey and Ed Maiden. Over the years, Manasseh featured regularly at Notting Hill Carnival, and played many big dances including clashes with sound systems such as Jah Shaka, Fatman, Jah Warrior, Volcano, Aba Shanti I, Jah Observer and Jah Tubby's. Robin also regularly presented Manasseh's Kiss FM radio show, a reggae institution which occupied the late night Saturday night/Sunday morning slot for 12 years from 1987 until 1999. Robin currently has a show on K2K radio where he plays the finest roots music. On the night Robin will be selecting with Ruben Da Silva on mic duties. Ruben is a singer and songwriter who has been recording since 1997 and has been a stalwart on the London reggae scene for even longer. Ruben has just released a 12” “The Day Will Come” for Spain’s Crucial Ruler Records.

Westway Roots with Principal
Westway Roots are a new soundsystem operating out of Westbourne Park. Westway Roots have finished building their 15kw soundsystem and are ready to get out and play some records. The system was built by hand, apart from the scoops which were previously in use by King Shiloh across Europe. Westway Root’s chief selector is Clifford Junior who can also be found playing for Reggae Roast. For these sessions Westway Roots will be joined by Principal, veteran of eras bygone and present. Principal has releases spanning across the decades and a voice that still sounds like it was hitting its first notes in the 70s. Principal is a lyrical, melodic machine who has most recently recorded for Jah Shaka.
