If i use 1200w a side in 4 ohms two power an 800w speaker can you turn it down so it doesnt go over 800 watt or what?

How is the speaker rated?  If it's 800w rms then it'll be fine, regardless of whether it's 4 or 8 ohms.  If it's 8 ohms then the amp will probably only be giving 700-800w at 8R anyway

not really a problem most of the time how much power you put into a speaker...just dont let the clip lights come on.yull be fine with that,and if youve got limiters and just watch the dj's, then itll be a much easier job
