Or what gauge? It doesn't really matter too much inside a cab as the distances are very short so you aren't going to lose any power. On the extremely rare occasions that I have done it, I tend to use whatever I have around, either offcuts of speaker cable or even bits of mains lead.

Inside the cab I usually just use 4mm auto cable.

Yeah random bit of mains cable is fine for this.
I go with 2.5mm on powerful bass drivers, 1.5mm on everything else. 4mm is pointless. There wont be enough resistance to cause an issue. There wont be enough heat generated in the cable to cause an issue. The cost, weight and difficulty of using 4mm is an issue. You could use a couple of bent wire coat-hangers if you wanted.

If that is in reference to my post, automotive cable is measured as external diameter, not CSA. 4mm auto cable is around 1.85mm^2 CSA |
