http://forum.speakerplans.com/martin-audio-f1-rig_topic48049.html Edit.....If you cant be arsed to trawl through that, the following will do the job nicely; PHL 7010 RCF L18S801 PD188 Celestion FTR18-4080F Edited by Jimmer - 04 February 2012 at 10:58pm |

Rich---Some of the older models of those cabinets are fitted with a very good 600w Celestion driver with the old cast chassis---I have one sat here if you need one to match up---Cheers--John.

Indeed the original Celestion drivers are wonderfull, but unfortunately you can't get the recone kits for them any more, some info forum member Ibex found out about it...
Seems that they took components from a few previous drivers: - BX18-4085 membrane incl. voice voil - BX18-4080 suspension - BX18 chassis - B18-1000 motor This Celestion driver was made specifically for Martin Audio and was the model number T4447.... If anyone knows where I could still obtain this parts, please pass on contact details as I have two needing repair ![]() |

Rich---On a VRS800 or VRS1000 the 18" is loaded through the rear door but be careful when removing or re-fitting as it has to slide into place across the baffle board and it is easy to damage the cone or suspension.
Jim---I will have a word with our re-cone guy for you as he should be able to sort them out. |

I'd put RCF L18s800 drivers in. designed for horn loading.
The 18's can be a royal pain to fit back into the cabs. it's actually easier to remove the 12" to get the bass driver past.
