Student loan bought my first pair of Technics back in the 90`s. Always wanted a Gemini DJ Jazzy Jeff signature model mixer. Had to settle far a Made 2 Fade GM25.
Can anyone remember the mixer that had 3 cross faders, 1 for tops, 1 for mids and one for bass? Think it was called red sound or something?

Yeah think it was a Red Sound Infader. Always looked a bit odd to me, nice idea though.
Cheers, Chris.

i started djing in 88 when i was 16, i didnt own any stuff because my brother worked and dj for our local sound hire company so i just used to take there kit out for free lol, citronic twin decks  ,after he left we both didnt bother for a bit but he had a pair of 1210's at home for ages till he sold them when he was short of cash, when i got back into it i had a set of vestex decks which were pretty good but migrated to cd so sold them
GOD TOLD ME TO DO IT !!!!!

a guy showed up with this to a party the other night. was actually good to see one again. we cleaned it up, the crossfader is shot, the other faders needed a bit of loosening up let's say.. but it did all work and actually sounded really good.

to be fair the cdj1000mk3 are 16yrs old too

then look at comparing modern cdjs and turntables, 1000s cant compare with 2000nxs2, but a new turntable does exactly the same as a 1210
