12v transformer

   I have a radio/ dock player in Spain but I am back in the U.K. now, I want to repair the radio thingy, it died a few week back, blew an internal fuse on the primary windings side of the transformer, its a chassis transformer 0.6 A 220x12 , has three wires coming out I guess 12+,12- and 0v going to the rectifier. Would prefer going slightly up in amperage if possible as it seems wise, power supplies always seem to go on this sort of tat. Any thoughts please (wondering where to get one)

	Is the rectifier ok? Best off checking why the fuse blew before replacing the transformer.

	TBH , the fuse went on the mains side so I assumed it was the mains windings shorted, for the cost of a tranny I thought I would try replacing it
