Thank you Cravings and VectorDJ!

I just looked for the Cerwin Vega you mentioned VectorDJ and you are right, its almost the same design. Its a funny coincidence because i didnt know that layout before... But if this kind of design works as a commercial Cab, then i am more than happy that i came up with something similar :)

Like promised I finished the bracing today. This is the result, and again, i am more than happy with the amount of sturdiness that it gave the cab and also with the look of it.

Now i just have to take measurements, do all the routerwork (like handles etc.) and give it a paintjob. But i think that will take some time Embarrassed

thats an impressive build. Bloody well done. I love the bracing. It has a lovely oldskool attitude.

So after a long time I now have another update for you ;)

My friend and I did all the routing for the handles and added some more bracing in the dead Spaces (mainly for reducing the risk of stuff falling/getting in there from the handles)

(The cables are fixed now, so don“t worry)

But since we liked the sound of the first one so much, we decided to replace our HD15 with two of the new ones, so we started building a second one Embarrassed While building we listened to music with two X1, the first kickhorn (not finished) and a quick and dirty prototype of our new Midtop.

And today we finally painted a first complete layer of paint on one of them (the other one follows tomorrow). There is still another layer to come and then we will do a splatter coat when we finished the rest of our new cabs -> two more X1 and the new midtops.
