Hi all,

I've got a booking coming up where I need to power the whole setup (proline 3000, 2x TA2400 and dbmark processor) off a 16a industrial socket (the blue ones). Will I need a 16a to 13a distro, or will it be safe to power off a 16a industrial socket to 13a household socket adaptor? like this one https://cpc.farnell.com/pro-elec/pel00158/lead-single-13a-skt-16a-plug-1/dp/PL14283?st=16a%20plug%20to%2013a%20sockets

The lead you have linked to will be fine, as the plug that plugs into the 13a socket is fused at (surprise surprise) 13a!!! But why not take advantage of full supply and use something like this:

Plug the proline into one socket and the rest into the other socket. Just as a side note, some don’t like doing this, as it relies on the 16a socket being properly installed, but you, of course, will take steps to ensure the supply is wired correctly and properly protected; under these circumstances, it should be fine.
Nothing is foolproof because fools are so ingenious
