'alot of force for a tiny magnet and 4" coil. '
No crap, it's neo. 4" coil does not mean 'less force immediately' I believe one of the Americans on the forum have built a pair.

Someone was selling some over here for $499 Australian new. I think thats cheap. Surely there isn't something wrong with that model and they are trying to get rid of them?

Sorry, my bad, wrong one.
The magnet doesn't look altogether too small for a 21" cone. The proof will be in it's T/S anyway.

I reckon it's a 21" designed for reflex loading rather than high pressure loading in horns etc. If it's anything like it's 15" and 18" brothers it'll sound very very nice indeed.

hmmmm. trying to decide between punishers or these, to go with xtro's.
i know theyre completely different school of thought but i want it to sound sweet in small to medium sized clubs. not too sure about punishers either, has ne1 designed an effective heat sink for them, had a few ideas. could get 3 punishers for one of these in price and theyre half the size as well. i hate making decisions, too many options.. |
