May be stupid question but...

What is better? To build 4 cabs with burning like paper C18-650EL and put them 500w each (2 kW in 4 cabs)

Or to build 2 cabs with SD-18 or Void V-18 1000, forget all problems and put the same 2 kW for only two cabs?

I know, that common pressure will be bigger using 4 cabs, but i'm afraid of burning C18-650EL as has been written already in many posts here. Any help please.

Sorry for my school English, and thanks for your answers. Smile

I would build two load with V18/1850/SD18 ,then when you have the money build two more...then two more...then two more etc untill you have the sickest rig!
If you want the performance that they are capable of you need the top drivers.
Otherwise you would be better of with 2 x G-subs loaded with the C18 650el.

Infinitely baffled.

Later manufactured C18-650EL's might last longer in X1's because it was glue failure that killed them not overheating.  The ones that I know about anyway.

I tried buying those when they were $175 U.S. but they changed the price the day I went to buy em.  Got stuck with sigma's.
