Clap  Clap

Yes SMP, Boom Pre Amps Thumbs Up

We grew on listening to sounds playing off them, most of the "Tuffest" sounds back in the mid 80's from South London used to controls tings with the TUAC Weight & Treble Pre's  LOL

This is why 5/6 years ago Goverment "weight & Treble" of Preston was designed & built around the TUAC 2way sound, @ the time we couldn't find a TUAC so we got Charlie to convert one his 3way pre's for us, then we got Mostec to built & convert his 3way to play 2way "effortlessly" for us, & the rest is history.......

Trick is to find a very good crossover builder for your mid/top box so you "fling" a full range signal @ them & it will just perform.................... (provided right components are used)

Bass for us is strictly below 40hz "Roots & Dub is the only music permitted on Goverment" from our DIY double reflex boxes, 21"s & 18"

If you asking about frequencies, I've got no idea LOL  Strictly Pre amp controls & our EARS LOL..........

Respect.............. Thumbs Up

Biggup Gee, for stepping out of the box and going down the unique original route!!!

The original JBL 4520 scoops were part of a 2 way system with JBL 2395 acoustic lens.   Now that is a 2 way system that would work well with Horace Andy Vocals.
