@ADYK while you are in ther you may consider a red neon between N & E to show if you have a crap earth, traditional all my single phase distro's have a green from earth to live, a red from earth to neutral and amber from Live to neutral to give a quick, green/amber good to go, any red PANIC!!!!! type system....

What do you mean by a neon?? Building my own 16A single phase distro later and this indicator sounds like a good idea!

Adyk, great build, the Powercons are a five minute fix but lifetime regret if it ever caused anybody any harm! Id change them asap to avoid problems, to keep costs and safety worries down. Otherwise, great build!! Must say very impressed and like the meter on the side!

One of these :-

basically a very small light, but it uses gas (neon) instead of a filament so has a very high resistance, so high in facr you can connect it between L-N, N-E and E-L safely...

Real cheap and offer a quick check things are happy.

You Should still "Meter Your Mains!"
