What was the output measurement for 4 ohms @40hz?

The measurement was taken by a german magazine, they only did 60Hz and 1khz sine and burst.
I have no data available for 40hz, sorry :(

Proline--clip---drivers dead. If u plan on playing heavy weight sub then. I'd stay clear of the proline. Clip limiter inaccurate. Nasty dc across outputs when ur clips.

your Fane XBs would be so damn dead before the proline clips at the output in bridge mode... so the problem must be somewhere else.

Do you think when he says half volume he has the amp at half volume? That would explain a lot.

that is exaclty what i think. the poti of an amp is just an input attenuator. even if only turned up half the way, you can still clip your amp if you apply an input signal which is greater than the rated input sensitivity.

Here's my friends rig easily shifting air with 4x V1000's at 4r on a proline 3000.

It would be nice if these youtube links are used in future to put to bed the myth that a proline 3000 can't handle 4x 1000w subs. Wink

Proline will be fine running into 4 Ohms per channel, just make sure you set a limiter upstream of the amp to make sure it doesn't clip, some of us sound engineers will remember when amps didn't have limiters.
