if they are not glued yet you could try a v baffle push pull arrangement, should lower distortions, unless the drivers motors are noisy, should work well up to xover to the HF horn. looks like theres some dead volume/space that could be filled :) |

What would the min benefit of that? Wouldn’t the v shape be a problem because i’m running them up to 1100hz at the moment. Due to the placement next to eachother they are a bit directional but i wiuld think the v trades that with interference in higher freqs -or didnt i read other topics thorough enough :)
The space behind the chamber was intended to store the cables for lows and highs, coming from nl8 speakon (have sone cable and halfdecent connectors being dirtcheap on aliexpress) Edited by Bams - 03 February 2021 at 10:41pm |

in a v shape baffle you could get them a bit closer to each other, wider hor. dispersion at xover. distortions are reduced in push pull cabs front chamber bandpass effects should be fine with such a short/small chamber to cross over fine at about 1khz. cb, as is, should work fine too, as you mentioned, the hor. disp. might be a tad narrow to match the HF :) |
