i had 3 186's. they are empty and going for peanuts. so shout any one if they want them! i personaly want rid of them. some one make me an offer. and i will throw in a matching grill for the 4th.

needed a new bass rig badly. and had been looking around for a while. turned up empty then realised that punishers only cost 300 each cnced and all in! so.... i was sold! looking forward to recieving the drivers. hoping charles can sort them out for me as well.

once again big thumbs up the charles!
i think charles may be interested in sorting out some sort of license with walt. well if he isnt then he should be. cause the flat packs go together perfectly. and its turns out to be a really professional product.

You are not going to be disappointed when you do fire them up for a test I assure you.

I was thinking of going the same route, when I get a bit more cash and storage space + transport, I was going to buy two of the flatpacks. They wont be identical to the eye compared to the ones I built myself but thats no biggy really. If I get really anal about that I can always sell my old ones and just build 4 new.

Then I suppose I will have to build another 4  and tby then If I didn't have my own semi pro weekend company I'd prolly really have to question what the hell I was doing.

Iain, great photos of the build, sorry to be a bit thick here, the flatpack kits work out at £300 each,yes?...how much do you think all the other bits and bobs (castors, bolts.etc) cost roughly per cabinet as well? im also guessing that will take several litres of paint to give each about 3-4 coats.just be interesting to know the rough final figure per box. cheers,Ian.
Be seeing you.

no no no. it was 300 ea.... for everything (castors, screws, glue, paint,) maybe about 350 tops. but that really is amazing.
i guess the only things i dont include are. picking up the wood from the cnc shop. and personal time making them.

but this will put the price upto about 600 / 650 quid each after all that. (its about 7 or 8 days work for 8 punishers start to finish. with 2 people working

really!!!

with drivers and such???
that is a very very very very cheep in fact i dont know how they could do it at that price.

as for the ludicus end price. well... its a pretty dogged world at the end of the day. and business is business. the price i quoted above is just an estimate. but. remember that if you were running it as a buisiness you would quickly realise how much you would really need to start charging! over heads, tax insurance, you would need to make an awful lot of them befor you could get the bulk discount at the cnc shop.

any way there are my thoughts

p.s. i blew a turbosound ls-1506 last night.... "dag!!"

Hello,

I may be mistaken but uptil now I have not seen any pictures of punisher cabinets build by Mykey. So until I hear some positive comments of someone who bought some Punishers from Mykey I would not take these prices to serious.

Also I still have not recieved the 8" midhorn he was supposed to send to me... I think I would have some more confidence in mister Mykeys bussiness if I already had recieved this midhorn.

Best regards,

Walt
