Theoretically buying ,
found a guy who has a bunch but is asking a lot in my opinion.

You will find there are many people, asking exorbitant prices for these amps..

Which is strange, as a pair of CA18s driving 2x "8 ohm" cabs per side, will sound much better, than a 9001, in 2 ohm stereo.

Friend is selling a QSC PL380, which on decent power, would outplay a 9001, 4 ohm/2 ohm stereo, IMHO.

10kused occasionally has 9001s for sale. Non on atm, but there are 3 8002s for a pretty reasonable price. I saw a pair of 9001s on eBay recently for £1600 each.

Back in the day, when 600-800w drivers were all the rage, 9001 on decent power, or Genny, doing 2 ohm stereo, would have made sense.

But Void Infinite 8 MK2, would pound 9001 into the ground, at 4 ohm stereo.

Even though 2x Voids would cost approx £2200 - £2400, it would make more sense, buying 2x of those, or a K20  for powering  8x 18" modern drivers, than a 9001.

These ones are a tiny bit more than the 1600gbp mentioned here, crazy if you ask me. Really doubt they will ever move them at that price but who knows...
Regarding the setup, doesnt RC1 run like one bin per amplifier? Thats a no compromise approach which theoretically i would also take but on a much smaller scale.
Like one bridged 9001/ca18  per 2 21s or one 4 ohm per side , or inf8 RAM bux 5.0 .
but thats all wishful thinking at this point and im sure there are much more lighter and practical solutions now but yeah.

If I had the gigs, to return the investment, I would have splashed out on a Powersoft X4L, ages ago.

I've had Void Inf 8 MK2s, numerous times, and no other transformer amp, has ever matched them.

But if you are over 40, your back tells you to find decent lightweight amps, even if wheeling in racks !!!

CA18 probably best "sounding" transformer sub amps ever, but the power to weight ratio, not really justified, these days. IMHO
