A good basic 12v for live in vehicle?

   I have to mention though that the linked amplifier in the OP uses 4-5W at absolute volume. With reasonably sensitive speakers you will probably not use more than 1.2-1.5W. It uses about 1W in idle of which 25% is the power indicator LED. So the demand for big solar panels aren't really that big. A 75Ah leisure battery easily lasts 10 days of mixed use (8 hours at max volume, 8 hours at normal volume, 8 hours off, plus 2 phone recharges per day) as tested and used by a vast number of people every year at Roskilde Festival.
