Hello.

I have 2 vintage JBL 2032H 15" woofer units and I have a question regarding the output of this units.

The detailed specifications of this product are not available, but I saw the following word in some JBL document.

  • 2032H 15” woofer used in MR Series and 4655, 500W

But I don't know what 500W means here.

Are these values AES standard? Is it RMS standard?

Or does it PEAK?

I'm trying to connect these woofers in parallel to one channel of the woofer,

but I'd like some advice on how much output wattage to buy.

Thank you.

In one of several notes I saw it listed as 250w rms 500w peak, so an amp that can supply 500w per driver would do.
