   Hi, just need a bit of advice really on building a 12v rig for camping trips and down on the beach. I currently take a portable panasonic stereo - a cobra top thingy with motorised panel on top. It's reasonably loud, but not quite loud enough if you get me!

I'm after building a simple single box with wheels to pull along, 2 x 6-8" drivers and a peizo (I know they're crap but want to avoid crossover)

I was thinking of a cheap flea bay chinese amp jobby, 85ah leisure battery, connected to ipod?

I need to keep costs down really, it has to go louder than panasonic and last longer. I need about 30 hours use a charge.

I have plenty of drivers laying about the house so that bits not a problem (I'm a bit speaker mad!) , just the amp, battery and hours of use really?

Can anyone give any sound advice?
