16 Ohm connected over a bridge makes for 8 Ohm charge on each amp of that bridge, not 4 Ohm.
So total power out of that 16 Ohm bridge will be the sum of both amplifiers, roughly two times 70W @ 8 Ohm = 140W total or 70W for each sub.
You can just as well connect each 8 Ohm sub to a seperate channel and get the exact same power for each sub, 70W @ 8 Ohm or 140W for both.

" So my suggestion to go about, would be to use the amp in 3 ch mode. Subs connected parallel in bridge mode on Ch A (LPF selected) and mid tops each running of an amp channel of Ch B (HPF selected). Input selector in 2 Ch mode not 4 Ch. Feeding inputs A and B with signal ( through an RCA Y-split cable I guess ? )."

+1

Go with this. The most efficient way of using what you have.

Cool yeh will do that thank you too Earplug.

Out of interest why select 2channel mode rather than 4 channel?

Id of thought 2ch mode for 1 or 2 channels, and 4ch mode for 3 or 4 channels?

You can choose 4 ch, but you better come up with a few more RCA Y-splits  Wink
