One observation though: Are those radial horns vertically unsymmetrical? The upper half looks like it has a strong flare bending upwards, whereas the lower half looks rather flat. If so, could the horn have been accidentally mounted upside down? I don't mean to be negative. But usually it's the opposite way around, upper half flat, with stronger flare downwards, so that the sound gets directed at the audience and not to the ceiling......

What music are you guys playing/renting it out for?

respect and good luck with your system! Smile

Ermita got it spot on It's just the angle of the picture making them look asymmetrical. jbl man named them in an old thread as matamp horns as used in froggys disco system well before I was born! Loaded with jbl 2426 1" comps too my mate managed to buy both the tops for £75 from a local auction!

Main use is dj events, usually garage dnb breaks stuff but has been used for some grime/hip hop nights

The picture of the 2x15 outside was a Lazy Sunday reggae event my friend organised last summer

Yup,are Vitavox flares (Matamp just stuck their badge on them),they are cast in two halves and bolted together. They are actually a 2 inch throat,so these would have a 2"- 1" adapter fitted to mount a 2426.
Be seeing you.
