I know it's best to use the speakers from the plan but in Germany it's impossible to get p.audio speakers. I contacted proaudioparts to send me 4 but I think this won't be cheap ( I tell you what it is about ).
Is there a possibility for using other speakers ? I'm thinking of RCF L12/854K or something like that maybe someone could find a dealer for me who is able to send them cheap or something like that ... thanks |

I'm in the middle of building a pair of MT122's now, going to load them with PD123ER's & Beyma cp750ti mounted on TD400's. I'll let you know the results in about a week!

Yes! They are finished, they sound unreal! I love 'em! The sound quality at high volume levels is incredible and the CP750ti's feel like they are slapping you in the face! lol!
your welcome to come and listen to them in Cardiff!
I'll post pix up soon.

Taken a very long time, but worth every minute!
Loaded with PD123ER
Beyma CP750ti
TD400 flares
I'm running the PD123ER's with a Crown Xti 2000 (800watts @ 4 Ohms)
The Beyma's are running off a Crown Xti 1000
Needless to say they sound amazing! In our small basement club, you cant stand near them when you crank them up and they produce crystal clear sound. Really happy with the finish too, the paint is 4 thick coats of black Aldcroft.

It's worth pointing out that the PD123ER was the original spec driver for the MT122. In listening tests there's not much between them and the later spec P-audio

Yep, PD123ER and CP800 so you're not far off the original spec

Would using cheaper speakers (like the eminence for example) make these sound like total garbage, or would they still be usable?
